I do love the contrast with the anachronism too. The horse still, (of the past) and the tram (of the present, technology) moving by insanely fast. Shows the difference of old vs new, and captures how alot of people view the world and how life is just going way too fast.

There are many carriage horses in Chicago, too. I always enjoy seeing them, and I can't help but check out their general health as I pass by - weight, hooves, etc...It's a habit. :/ But taking the time to talk to the carriage drivers about their animals, most of them really care about their animals and are always happy to answer questions about them.

That's pretty much perfect! I got the concept before reading the description. It's like when older folks watch the younger generation run around. Their way of life has come and passed and they are getting passed in the process. Perfect.
