Breeze glides across the morning mist
Rustle
But no one hears
as I stand alone
In the ethereal paleness
I close my eyes
and let the silence consume me

Or were they open?

I no longer cared.
where I was

who I was

Yes, it is taken with a 2mp camera phone.

One Tree Hill, Auckland

Very nice picture! The cool thing about the small version is that you don't see the grain. On the enlarged picture you see the mobile phone quality showing up .... I think I'm gonna crown you as the master of clipping, cos I think you just have an eye for interesting cuts. Or maybe you shoot them this way from the beginning, in any case: I love it.
Thank u! Yes the small version's disguising the imperfections :P And it's very flattering to be complimented on the clipping... It's a great art for those of us who are too lazy to walk across all that cow poo (in my leather shoes for work) to get the right composition! :D

Hehe, I have that problem all the time. My attempt to a solution is to buy a tele (I hope that what it's called in English, I mean a very zoomy lense =P), because I go nuts when the part I meant to be the main photograph ends up too small once the surrounding stuff's been cut off. Where ofcourse the other part of the problem comes in, because I won't have my camera and lenses with me at every opportunity where I should have. Grr. :D
very dreamy landscape. the fog adds a great deal of mystery for me, what is hidden beyond.
beautiful and eerie!
Aw thats what I was going to say! Stealer of words! =)

Hmm...well lets see. It's very bewitching and ghostly!

Hehe... well thank u both *equally* for ur kind words! :D

Yeah teles are great, for shots from a vehicle ur not in control of (boats) and especially when ur shooting dangerous animals! :D

I guess the solution to our problem would be to carry our camera + lenses, AT ALL TIMES!

"Excuse me, but ur not allowed to take a camera with telephoto lens into the on-sen!"
"But... but u never know when a photo opportunity will come up!"

NB On-sen: Japanese spa where everyone gets naked. ;)

Thank u! Yes the fog just did wonders to the already beautiful landscape... I love seeing the world through a layer of mist.
