I've been rather condescending to the nurses in the hospital:

"Would you grab the obs chart for me, sweet cheeks?"
"Hey sugar pie, how's Mrs. Henderson today?"
"Have you taken the bloods yet pumpkin? I need those done asap."

My little social experiment...

And guess what, they love it.
